What if I need to drop out? Is there any flexibility?
If your situation changes and you need to drop out then we've built in a lot of flexibility for you. It depends if you've been drawn and if you've used the money to buy a house.
1) If you've haven't been awarded your money, you can drop-out and any money paid in to the Circle up to that point would be returned to you at the end of the Circle (or if you want to access the money early you can pay the remainder of your monthly fees due and have the money returned to you immediately)
2) If you have been awarded your money and it's still in your StepLadder e-wallet, you can drop-out of the Circle. Any money that you've paid in to date (less fees) will be returned to you at the end of the Cirlce, or you can access the money you've paid in sooner if you pay the outstanding monthly administration fees.
3) If you've been awarded your money and taken it out of your StepLadder e-wallet you cannot drop out of the Circle as you would owe StepLadder money. You can pay off your existing commitment early. If you have purchased a house with your StepLadder money and become sick or unemployed we have payment waiver cover in place to make payments for you for a limited period of time.
Don't forget, the StepLadder Team are always on hand to discuss changes to your personal circumstances and possible solutions if you need to drop-out or get your money back. We are here to help!
